As an experienced examiner, I understand implicitly how the examination process works and therefore how to thoroughly prepare students for it.

I can accurately assess my students’ progress and quickly ascertain what they need to do to improve.

Teaching

I am a fully qualified English school teacher with 11 years’ experience in the classroom. I work in a school and tutor privately, with access to the most innovative pedagogical resources. I regularly undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Having taught hundreds of students year on year, I have deep working knowledge of how to assess and support students. I am also a qualified Learning Mentor and an experienced Study Skills Coach, advising on study habits and on organising and revision skills.

I work closely with Learning Enhancement Departments, supporting students with dyslexia, ADHD, Dyspraxia, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I regularly mentor English Oxbridge applicants.
